BridgeLife Fund

Launched in December 2012, the objective of this fund is to provide assistance to a diverse range of needy causes that include education, subsistence, small seed funding for entrepreneurial projects, amongst others, in Singapore.

Beneficiaries will also be guided on practical issues on a broad range of subjects by associates and friends of BridgeLife. Some of the categories of the BridgeLife Fund are listed below:

Financial Aid

Financial aid to the marginalised this includes ex-offenders, individuals or families facing economic hardships. Financial aid will almost always be accompanied by mentor/befriender groups assigned for a more complete approach.

Education Aid

Education assistance to the marginalised, as well as, mentoring of beneficiaries in areas of career and adjustment to society (eg. ex-offenders). This also includes educational programs that reach out to those needing it.

Business Aid

For small business needs, this aid helps to plug the gaps for the marginalised aspiring to set up their businesses for self-sufficiency. It includes mentoring in areas of business management.

We have conducted talks on volunteering to youths to encourage them in the journey of volunteering and charitable acts. We also provide basic personal finance education to various groups of youths to adults.

Motivational Visits: As we are also managing Children’s Home in Myanmar, we often encourage volunteers and locals to visit and be encouraged by the work there. Many come home inspired and renewed to do more for the marginalised.

Supporting Other Charities/Grants

We identify other charities of similar values and provide support for their funding gaps.

Community Partners

We are constantly identifying partners who do invaluable work to support the marginalised within society in a wholistic way (physical, mentoring guidance and spiritual). Once identified, we seek to plug gaps in their funding and we also render advisory assistance where relevant. Our partners then become part of a community which will also seek to uplift one another based on their core strengths.
